New Pushing Place

 Took myself to a new place today (Southbourne Beach)

I need to get better at taking selfies.

Found a way down to the beach at Hengistbury Head end of the beach, was quite a steep slope down, but i thought I wont have to go back that way as is a lift further down that i could use.

So off I set, was a really nice warm day.

The path was pretty good to push on, not to much of a camber, just had to go around a few piles of sand on the way.

1.5 miles later i am at Boscombe pier.

It's only when I take this photo that i realise i have to go all the way back yet.

So off I set, at least the breeze was behind me and that makes a big difference,

by now i am getting a bit tired as this is my first day out for a few days as i have had to rest but in the distance i could see the lifts. It seemed to take ages to get to the lifts but made it..😀

The last few hundred yard was hard work but I though, nearly over, get the lift to the top then most down hill to the car. (was so wrong)

My thought was, shit that's a big hill, so sat at the bottom looking up thinking how can i get up that but with a lot of swear words. So i come up with the idea of zigzagging rather that going straight up 

Just about did the first zig and zag, the next zig I thought I can't make it 

I am about 20M from the road so I went for it straight up about 10M from the top a nice lady asked if I wanted help and normally I would have said no but this time i smiled and said yes.

Yay at last up on the road, was not sure where the car was but knew if i went right I would find it, so off I go.

Pushing on footpaths (sidewalks for USA) is hard work, the surfaces are very bad and so are the drop kerbs.

By now i am very very tired pushing myself and not a clue how far or where the car is, I am starting to thing about calling my carer...😀

Eventually I come to a roundabout that I sort of remember but not to sure, I can go right down a nice big hill or left to who knows where.

I picked the hill..😀 and was that fun, not been that fast for a long time, but all the while this hill went on and on, i am thinking, what if I have gone wrong and have to push myself back up.

If that had happened then I would have called for help, but after a long and great fun down hill rush i found my car, made it home and took a nap...😀
